The 'painting' function on the iPad iphotos ios7 app is no longer in IOS8

Let me clarify. On my iPad the iphotos app with IOS7 had a function that turned a photo into a semi impressionistic painting. It looked like large brush strokes. Good contrast features.
I can no longer find that function with photos in IOS8 and wondered if there is another app that does this.
