Why does the caller ID display unknown number instead of my phone number?

Jailbroke and now I can not get my caller Id to show my number when I make calls need to show my number not unknow number in fix for this

jailbreaking alone shouldn't do this... check with your carrier's support web site for a star code you can dial to remove a setting within their switch that will allow your caller-id to display.
