Is it possible to turn voice mail off?

My wife and I have iPhone 5S. We get a billion voice mails, so to speak, and just never get around to checking them! Figure if someone wants to talk to us they can call back. Yup...we're both contrary! Is there any way to do away with voice mail completely?

Call your wireless provider and ask them to disable your voicemail service.
