How do i put my i phone into dfu mode

I phone model 1332 im trying to reset my i phone to default using dfu mode, and also trying to dtermin how to get phone info .....imei # model # and whether my carrier is gsm or cdma

why dont you reset your phone within the settings app? you can also find out what the imei number etc in settings? My guess and I am sorry if I am wrong you are trying to use a phone that isn't yours and to get past the locks in place- If thats the case- You can't get around the activation lock in DFU mode

First of all, make sure that you?re running the latest version if iTunes. Then, just put your device in DFU mode (instructions in the link below) and connect it to your computer/iTunes. It will download the latest iOS and install it for you. Good luck.
