I purchased an iPad 2 today, but Is it the real thing?

Today, I went to purchase an iPad Air 2 at the Apple Store. But now that I am ready to open and set it up, I realize that on the box it only says IPad Air. How do I know if it's the 2? I don't really want to unwrap it until I know.

Apple gives you 14 days to return anything, whether it's opened or not. So, tear it open and see what's up. If it's the original Air, just take it back.

I have already returned it once. Isn't there a model number or something that indicates whether you have the Air 2 or the Air? I cannot find it on the website anywhere.

Normally the label on back bottom of the box with give a model number just type that into google

The Air 2 Box has the Apple logo on the side of the box as shown in the first Air 2 picture. Also take a look at the second Air 2 photo. Instead of having the mute switch there, there is just a microphone hole.
