How can I link the Town Hall 7 to my phone?

Hello on my phone i have a town hall 6 in clash of clans and on my bothers i pad i have a th 7. I want to link the town hall 7 to my phone but it says I can only link the town hall 6 to the i pad how can I fix this pls.

Do you guys have different itunes/app store accounts? Thus different gamecenter accounts? This might explain the problem. You can try contacting Supercell support for help and advise on fixing the issue.....
