How does the SNOOZE function work on My Alarm Clock on MacBook Pro?

I have My Alarm Clock on my MacBook Pro. How does one get the SNOOZE function to work? When the alarm goes off, I have to log on, (because the screen saver is on) and by then there is really no chance of going back to snooze...is there a key to hit that will operate the snooze function when the screen saver is on? Thanks.

Hopefully someone with some insight will chime in soon. I've never used the alarm clock function on my Mac.
