What can I do to prevent other people from seeing a reply when group messaging?

When you reply to a message from someone that has messaged you in a group message. Everyone that the message was sent to can see your reply. What can I do to prevent other people from seeing the reply?

You can also turn off a Group Messages in settings.

I always start a new thread with someone. Then I can switch back and forth.

Texting isn't emailing, so if you want to include an entire group conversation in a reply to ONE person, just copy-paste it to a new message. Perhaps one day texting will mimic emailing in that regards.
