I uploaded Yosemite on Macbook Pro, word 2011opens 10-12 documents every time I open word. Thanks!

when I open word, these documents automatically open one at a time until they are all open. Mission control indicates all these desktops. When I try to close them, Word says it has encountered a problem and has to close. I have reported and sent issue probably 20-30 times. I cannot use my word with reliability. thanks!

That's weird. I'm not having this issue on either of my Macs. Have you updated Microsoft lately?
