Missing Contacts on Ipad 3 with IOS 8.0.2
My Contacts are missing. I just added a contact a few days ago and haven't synced my data yet. I need the address to send them a birthday card. My calendar is fine, my notes are fine, and I DON'T use the iCloud. How can I restore my contacts? I've already tried hard resetting my device. All the questions and answers I have looked at online aren't helping. Please someone answer my plea!

Tap on the Contacts app and then tap on "Groups". Afterwards, tap on "All Contacts" to place a checkmark next to all of the listed groups, if any. Select "Done". Now search through the available listing to see if all of your contacts are present. Alternatively, if the contacts are associated with a configured email account, login to that account via a computer and verify that your contacts are present. If they are, then on your iPad, go to Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars - the aforementioned email account and toggle the button next to Contacts to disable it. Afterwards, re-enabled it.
