So no need to install email apps?

Yes, I am a newbie; iphone user for a few months. I was baffled as why I couldn't assign a specific tone for my emails. I had gmail and yahoo but decided to close the yahoo account (didn't see the need for two different accounts) Anyway, I didn't realize I didn't need to install any email apps because everything was integrated into the default mail app...duh. Now I can change my tones

Welcome to iMore! I kind of agree with you. I have used several email client apps, but I always end up back using the stock email app. I do have more than one email account though. I have 7 accounts. 4 Gmail, iCloud, Comcast, and Outlook. I have specific uses for each. The folders are different. But yeah, those 3rd party email apps just take up space, IMHO.
