Why am I having to use my phone speaker when making outgoing calls?

No sound during outgoing call until hit speaker phone on my i phone 4s

I have my iPhone 4S and set it all up and did my iCould and retired my data. each time i make a call there is no sound or indication that its even connecting until i hit speaker phone.

the speaker phone speaker and the speaker for the earpiece are different speakers- maybe something is wrong with earpiece one- try cleaning with shots from a can of air-
