how can i see a photo in my messages that has a jpeg image 47kb

I have been sent a picture to my messages but I cant see them
it only says jpeg image 47 kb

Sounds like the image was corrupted somehow as .jpegs are supported in all messaging services

Have you tried tapping on it like you do in email, It might need to download into your message.
