Why can't I log into iCloud after installing Win 7 PC?

iCloud Win 7 PC login failure

Why can't I log into iCloud after installation on a Windows 7 PC? After entering Apple ID & password that work online, the PC software hangs & does nothing. I have uninstalled & reinstalled software 4-5 times, no luck.

Odd question... Are you at work? Many companies block cloud services to prevent data spillage. When you are logging in from the web you are not saving files locally only accessing the ones in the cloud.
