Find the photo you want to print. Click on it. Now click the "share" icon. Now select print. Easy peasy.

Your photos are still there. Go to your photos app. Tap "photos" at the bottom left. You want "moments". If it's on years, tap the photos. That brings "collections". Tap Photos again and you have Moments. Those are all your photos organized by date.
