Can Verizon transfer contents of my iPhone 4S to my 6Plus when it arrives?

Would like to know the pros and cons of letting Verizon do the migration.

It's quite easy to do it yourself... before switching phones, back-up your device to iTunes and/or iCloud... and sync to iTunes... then, as a part of the process of activating the new phone, it will ask to restore from a back-up... pick your iCloud or iTunes back-up... then sync to iTunes - and it will be all done.

Many times things come in different formats and not the way you want them. They cant do apps and music or calendars- Only contacts. My advice is to use icloud and restore the new phone from icloud-

Not to mention the waiting and the waiting. Either enable contacts in iCloud settings (even if you don't restore they'll copy over when you login to your same iCloud.) or download the Verizon Cloud app and backup your contacts there.

A lot will say no, especially since it's Apple they will tell you to use iTunes. Not to mention iTunes works and works very quickly
