Why can't I connect my iPhone 5 to my home internet?

why can i not connect to my home internet - my ipad works but not my iphone5 won't

my iphone 5 will not connect to my home internet but my IPad will as well as my wifes iphone

This happens to me sometimes due to the amount of devises we have connected to our wifi. Unplugging the router for 30 seconds & plugging it back in usually fixes it.
