Is it possible and/or practical to buy a new battery for my ipad2?

My IPad is two years old and battery drains quickly. Sometimes it's not possible to plug it in but I don't want to buy a new one. So, wondering about replacing the battery.

Make an appointment at your local Apple Store. The Genius Bar should be able to replace the battery.
