Why do I get an email response every time I use fine my iphone?

Every time I use the find my iphone, I get an email. How do I get that to stop?

My initial response is to tell you to stop losing your phone... that being said- Its a security feature that I don't believe can be turned off

Yes it is a security function that tells you that someone used this feature so that you know if someone is tracking you or has access to your account if you did not use it. Just like if you log on on a different device it tells you.

It seems most who use Find my iPhone, do so to track family, especially kids. I'm glad my parents didn't have it. LOL.
