why does my iphone 4 keep restarting?

It turns on and then 20 seconds it restarts and sometimes it says my phone is dead when its charged

Try rebooting by pressing & holding the power & home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. Once your phone restarts, check to see if the problem persists. If it's still an issue, make a Genius appointment.
