Why does iMessage appear to hang when sending out group iMessages?

group messages hang with 'outgoing'
imessage is on
send as sms if i message is unavailable is on
mms messaging is on
send and receive is from my mobile number.

I don't know, but have you tried going to Settings - General - Reset and then select "Reset Network Settings" or try signing out of iMessage and then signing back in.

Thanks for the reply; I have tried both of those options but still no group message option and the text is still 'outgoing' I think I will call telstra perhaps its a network setting. I have had to get on to them about no personal hotspot so perhaps this is a similar thing.
