iPad 4th generation wifi
I have an iPad 4th generation bought last year.
I travel a lot and when I stay at hotels where sometimes the network is open but
then takes you to a web site where you have to put a password and I get a
message that says unable to connect to the network. My iPhone doesn't have that
problem. It connects really easy and fast.
Sometimes the iPad doesnt even give me the option to type any passwords, it
shows right away the message of unable to connect. I took it to the Apple Store
where I bought it and was told the problem is the antenna and it is better to
buy another one. Not surprise at all with the answer.
I can not return it for guaranty because is over.
Has anybody experienced this?
Thanks for any input on this.

Re: iPad 4th generation wifi
I'm kind of surprised at the reply given to you by an employee of the Apple Store in this regard. Normally, they would go out of their way to help resolve the problem. Anyway, I am assuming that with the exception of having to accept the open Wi-Fi agreements, etcetera, your iPad connects to an open Wi-Fi without any problems. Is that correct? Does it connects to your home Wi-Fi network, if applicable? A restore or a reset of your network settings may solve the problem for you. Give it a try, if you haven't already.
