IOS 8 Problem on IPOD 5th generation

after the IOS 8 update, my ipod 5th generation mixed up the artist songs? i wanted to listen to my music but i wanted to listen to a specific artist. so i pressed on an artist and i wanted to change to another but when i clicked on another artist it showed the same artist and their songs that i just listened to. if i click on the song previously when im on the screen to listen to another artist. the song from the artist that i want will play.. i dont know what to do, it doesnt show the songs that belongs to that artist that i want. it shows the previous one. please help!!
