Why are my apps not auto-updating in iOS 7.1.2 anymore?

A couple of days ago, my apps quit automatically updating on my i-devices. My iPhone 5s, iPod and iPad all have the same issue of no longer updating automatically. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it related to the release of the new iOS 8? Thanks for your help.

It's possible. Did you double-check to make sure that "automatic download" for "updates" is still enabled on your device. You can check by going to Settings - iTunes & App Store and then look under the "Automatic Download" section.
