iPhone 6 Won't Start

Hi, I just received my iPhone 6 and I tried to power it on and the screen is blank. I tried charging it but nothing is happening. I think there must be something wrong with it. Has anyone else had this issue?

Try keeping it charging on the plug for a couple of hours and see if in that time that it boots up. It might for some reason not have a charge.
