How do I get documents from my windows PC to my icloud drive?

I have a Dell PC and want to use icloud to backup my word documents. I can't figure out how to transfer existing documents to icloud drive. The only option it is giving me is icloud photos. How do I transfer Microsoft office docs from PC to icloud drive?

1. Login to www.iCloud.com

2. Select the iCloud Drive icon.

3. Tap the Add Folder icon to create a new folder .

4. Name the folder.

5. Upload your files to the folder.
