Why am I trapped at the lockscreen after installing activator on my iPod 5G?

Ever since i've installed activator for my Ipod and but respring as one of the main buttons it works but after the first respring it sort of trapped me in my lockscreen everytime I try to unlock it, my ipod reboots itself constantly, to add to that I can't reach safemode either (Shutdown start up at apple logo hold volume up) i've tried getting to safemode several times with no success I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but if anyone finds any solution please answer.

Would it be easier to restore via iTunes, lose the jailbreak, and then re-jailbreak your device?
