What time does one get in line to purchase the phone at the retail (Verizon) store? I am going to take my chances and go to the store to purchase.

Give your local store a call and show up an hour earlier than there tell you too

My local Verizon store normally opens at 9 am, but on Sept 19, they are opening at 8 am. Your local store may be doing the same thing.

Last year at the Verizon store I went to (which as above normally opens at 9am but opened at 8am for the launch day), people were in line at 5:30 am.
