Help choosing an iPad

I have 100,000 AMEX reward points and am looking for the right iPad to purchase. Should I get the iPad Air, iPad with Retina, or iPad mini with Retina? I should point out that AMEX is running a special right now on the iPad with Retina at $299 rather than the regular price of $399. I could get the iPad 4 and an iPad mini (both only 16 GB wifi) for my 5 year old with my points. Or, I could use all the points and get either a 32 GB wifi iPad Air or Mini with Retina (no deals on the new models). And then if I choose to go with the new/larger 32 GB, do I go Air or Mini? I'll be using the iPad to control my whole home audio system and well as using it to supplement my work laptop. What to do???
