I have an ipad that won't start, according to a technician the battery is defective. The problem is that it is on warranty with apple, but it has jailbreak. I try to restore with itunes in dfu mode, but gives me error 4005.
There any way to remove jailbreak to carry it to the warranty??

Re: jailbreak remove??

Connect it to iTunes and select to restore it. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer. If you get an error, try again.

Yes restore is the only way. Update your iTunes if you haven't done that, download iOS 7.1.2 using iTunes and restore it.

Yeah I think so. If the bat is flat out of juice and can't collect charges up to 2 or 5% I think the device won't turn on at all.
