Why won't my iPhone ring?

My i-phone 4s won't ring. It isn't on mute, the volume is all the way up and the settings for silence are deactivated. I go to ring settings and the various ring tones will play. I can get anything else (ie. Pandora, etc) to play through the speakers just fine.

Have you reset the device by pressing the power and home button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, then releasing?

Did you check to make sure that the "Do Not Disturb" option isn't enabled?
