Battery life on the 5c

I recently noticed my phone not holding a charge for very long. I have a 5c with the IOS 7.1.2. I went to the web site recommended here and did about everything except a complete erase restart on it (factory restart?). My phone is continuing to lose battery life. It almost seems like it is losing it faster now if that is possible. My battery now is lasting for about 4 to 5 hrs max and that is being generous with little use and in no roaming areas with LTE 4 bars at all times. Literally I have my phone sitting her with no back light on in sleep mode for 10mins and went from 25% to 22% battery life.
Any thoughts?

If you do not want to restore your device and set it up as new, make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store and let them diagnose the problem for you.
