found phone, how to find owner

I found an iphone 5 in a river, it dried out and turns on, but is disabled and says "try again in 23,420,468 minutes". how do I find out who this phone belongs to?

Hi and welcome to iMore. If it turns on, you could try a long press on the Home button when switched on and on the lock screen and ask Siri "who owns this phone?" It might not be enabled but it's worth a shot

Hold down the home button for Siri. Ask Siri, "Siri, Who do you belong to?". Hopefully a contact will show.
