Why won't iMessage verify my email?

Imessage randomly signed me out on my iPad mini and now it won't let me sign back in, it keeps saying that it can't verify my email and that it sent an email to me but it didn't!

I would give apple customer service a call- see if they can resend the email

Also, did you check the Junk folder?
