Why is my keyboard constantly freezing after installing iOS 7.1.2?

i updated to ios 7.1.2 and my ipods keyboard is constantly freezing..

Restore or put the device in DFU mode and have iTunes re-download iOS 7.1.2 and re-install it for you. IT is possible that your current installation is corrupted. It happens on occasion.
