How can I prevent Mapping Services using 100% of mb of data?

I'm having an issue with Mapping Services in Cellular System Services using 100's of mb of data with no apparent reason. This is shown in Settings>Cellular>System Services>Mapping Services. How can I stop it??

Do you mean even when it's turned off? I've got mine off until I need it.

I don't have anything turned off and don't use any where near that weird. Have you done a hard restart?

How many map apps do you have? I have Google Maps and Apple Maps and it's says 3.8mb for mapping services.
