I'm thinking of picking up an iMac refurb and was wondering if that is a good idea. I see it has the same warranty, but would like to hear from people who have bought one first.

If your getting it from Apple then there is nothing to worry about as stated above.

The only refurb I would ever buy are Apple products. Anyone else....no way....

I bought my iMac and MacBook Pro from apple refurbished section. Saved a few hundred dollars on each. Each with great successes

Absolutely a good deal. All of the Apple refurbs are as good as new - Apple goes through them and restores everything to like new condition, and adds the original warranty, THEN gives you a discount.
