Facebook on IOS 7.1.2

When opening the facebook app on my iPhone 5 running iOS 7.1.2 I am no longer seeing the little red numbers showing that there are notifications in certain areas...i.e. family, etc....

Is there a fix for this?

Go to Settings - Notifications - Facebook and then make sure that the "Badge App Icon" is enabled.

Thanks was more referring to in app after selecting the "more" link at bottom it used to show notifications there....any thoughts? Hasn't worked in several days now

Oh, I'm sorry, and no, I don't have any thoughts about it at this time. I stopped using Facebook and its associated app a few years back. Hopefully, someone who currently uses it will chime in soon...
