Old iPad and an App

I used to have an iPad with my old job, that I no longer have. I had a paid app on that device, and I can see that although I thought I had cancelled it, I haven't. How can I cancel this subscription since I no longer have the email account that was used to set up that account or the device in question? I want to close my bank account that the subs are coming off and obviously can't until I can solve this problem. Thanks for any advice.
