which macbook is for me?

I'm currently a student and need a new laptop. i want a mac but I am stuck between the macbook air and the macbook pro. All i will be doing on it is writing essays, internet and the occasional movie, could anyone help me with my decision?

The Air - I have one, although 2+ years old, but it's still amazingly functional and fast.

I use it for everything from web surfing to email, to creating & editing Word & Excel files, creating PDF's, listening to music, watching TV (cable company) as well as YouTube, Netflix, etc.

There's nothing I hesitate throwing at it.
