voicemail passcode

A screen continually pops up to ask for my passcode for voicemail. I didn't set a passcode. I tap cancel and it will go away but come back again and again. How can I make it stop?

I believe that you need to set a passcode. Otherwise it will continue to ask.

Does it say for voicemail? Or does it just pop up while on voicemail? Does it show your Apple ID email and asks for your password?

Make sure you are logged in to iMessage and FaceTime and that they are turned on.
