What should i do if the iPhone gets wet due to rains ?!?

If the phone has stopped working, then a lot of people are saying that packing it in a bag with dry rice will help remove the moisture. Alas it didn't work with my iPhone 5 but plenty of others say it has worked for them.

Make sure it is turned off immediately, if it isn't already. Don't use it at all for a couple of days whilst it is in the rice. Don't be tempted to remove it from the bag 'just to check'. Just leave it in there for a couple of days without touching
