Apple Wall Plug/Charger

Hi all,
I recently purchased an iPhone5S, and have chargers scattered around the house to use both with it and my iPad Mini. Need one more..LOL! I have this Apple wall mart from my iPad3. If I use the proper Lightning/USB cord, can this wall plug/charger be safely used with my iPhone? I know it works ok with the iPad Mini.

Thanks for any help. A new cord is cheap enough...just don't want to buy another little charger doohickey...( that's highly technical computer jargon..LOL!), if I just need an extra Lightning/USB cord...I'm cheap!

I'm in the UK, so my plugs are different from yours but I use the charging plug from my iPad quite happily with my iphone too.

I doubt you will have any issues at all, I never have and i've had an iPad since 2011 and an iPhone since before then.

Both the 5w and 10/12w chargers are listed as compatible on the Apple website. Go for it.

It'll be fine. I have a bunch of those things lying around & I use them interchangeably.
