Ipod 4 wont connect to internet!!!

I have an Ipod 4th gen, which I jailbroke, which then after a few weeks of jailbreak it stopped downloading files from safari. After some frustration I just reset my network setting, after this I tried to connect to the wifi and it would not connect! So then after some more frustration I reset my Ipod to factory settings, BUT IT STILL WONT CONNECT!! Oh and I have also reset my router and suprise, suprise, it doesnt connect. :'( PLEASE HELP!!!!

You stated you restored your iPod and still can't connect to your router. Have you tried using another wifi signal to eliminate the possibility that your device is defective

Also, is the router connecting other devices via Wi-Fi?

NO kataran I have not tried connecting to another wifi signal, I'll have to try it when I have the chance. And my router does connect to every other device in my house.
