Does anyone know why I can't find skype in the App Store?

Does anyone know why I can't find skype in the App Store? I even went directly to the skype website where there is a link to download skype for iPhone... Yet when I click the link it takes me to a blank page in the App Store. It's almost as of it has disappeared.

It could be in regard to the upcoming version 5.

I just checked and am still on 4 so more than likely waiting on 5 to come out as indicated.

Nope, it's not yet available in the U.S. Store. At least that's what was displayed via iTunes when I tapped on the link...

I realized from the screenshot when it said "Bell" that you were in Canada, that is why I mentioned United States.

Not available in UK App store either, pending the update. Darn, just got my new phone and wanted to add it. I shall wait.

Update: It's showing up here in the US under Updates but it still says that it is not available for purchase. So I will try again to download it later this afternoon.

I just downloaded the Skype 5.0 update.

Update 2: Deleted the app and then downloading again worked. I don't know why you have to do this to update but you do.
