There are 3rd party apps to allow writing to NTFS volumes. I use one from Paragon’s NFTS For Mac OS X.

You’re welcome. However, I can not continue to recommend Paragon products. The products work fine, but their upgrade/pricing policies make them a bad choice. I recently went to consider upgrading their NTFS product and discovered that there was NO upgrade discount of any kind. If you want the upgrade, you must pay full retail price, regardless of how long you’ve had their products, how much you paid for the product, etc. In fact, when I checked, the "upgrade" from v10 to v11 actually costs $5 US more than the original purchase. No thank you. Caveat emptor.
