iPhone Contacts

I have an iPhone 4s that was my granddaughters. She upgraded to an iPhone 5s. I took her 4s as I had a 4 and the battery was going bad. Today iTunes reset everything back to my last back up on 4/7/2014. When doing so it deleted all my contacts and contact information. How can I get all of the contact information back?

2 have old one itunes backup
3 if u sync any where ur contacts
