How do I get rid of the shadow that shows up on the top of the screen with some of my pictures?

Is there any way to get rid of the shadow that shows up on the top of the screen with some of my pictures? I realize it's trying to make sure I can see the time but it also does it with my home screen and it's frustrating.

Can you post of pic of what you're talking about? That would be very helpful because I'm not seeing this shadow you speak of.

Take a screen shot of your home screen. Hold the power button and home button. You'll hear the camera shutter, then post the pic from your camera roll.

Sounds to me like your pictures aren't sized properly for an iPhone screen. I assume you mean there is black space above and below the picture? If so, then yes, the picture is too small for the iPhone screen and iOS 7 doesn't really let you resize photos for background images anymore. If that's the case, unfortunately you will have to find a larger picture or put up with the empty space.

I have a problem with my phone..i talked to a firnd for 30 minutes then i saw a black shadow from the bottom of the screen..then the shadow is going to the top..i really need some help here
