iphone sends email prematurely. What can do

Is there a fix for the problem of email sending before mail has been finished.

I've never experienced such a thing. Are you sure you're not inadvertently tapping the send option?

That would have been my question and the previous advice of leaving out the recipient until the end is a good idea.

Some iPhones I've read inadvertently send all messages when you hit the return key. Not sure if there is a setting to fix this. But basically if you hit return to space for a new paragraph it will send the message. I'd search the support forums on Apples website for others with this problem cause I've definitely heard of it happening before.

Definitely leave the recipient box empty until you are done completing the email. A UI perceived hard press on the return button had resulted in a premature email sent on my 5c. =/
