iPad won't connect to wi-fi

my iPad was working perfectly connected to my home wi-fi until I tried to connect it to my TV thru the TV's USB port.

now it won't connect. it sees the network and the connection icon goes round and round, but nothing happens.

Delete the network from the iPad and then reboot. Then put in your password for the wifi. It should work. Otherwise, you should restore via iTunes.
